Well, for one thing, the pictures are square. That's not such a minor change.

He's far from the only one using a cameraphone and the idea that you go unobserved is interesting in that that has often been the reason people have used a Leica - small, unobtrusive, unthreatening. A camera phone is even better for that since you blend in all the more.
