Weinmann DP18 value

I was driven into last week, and I've just discovered that my rear rim has taken damage around one of the spoke holes.

The driver was amenable to paying for damage to the bike, so I'd like to quote him a fair replacement value for the rim.

The rim is a Weinmann DP18, but these don't seem readily available in the UK. I can get the Rigida DP18 delivered for around £30, but I've seen comments that the more recent DP18s weren't as well made as the originals.

Does anyone know if the Rigida DP18 is a reasonable replacement, or what would be a sensible alternative? I'm not out to rip the guy off (though I'd be well within my rights after the battering I took when he broadsided me), but I don't want to end up with worse componentry.

Get a cxp33, about the same depth - Mavic so it's gonna be quality innit. Get £40 off the guy. Plus money to rebuild the wheel, and new spokes.
