  • My body doesn't process fats well at all either. Without getting too graphic, most of the fat I consume comes straight back out. But surely this is more reason to indulge? My body (just like everyones I guess) processes carbs extremely well. Have to both be careful on timing and quantity for it not to zap energy and cause weight gain. So I eat them when I need them, not in the "low carb" camp but sensible quantities and times. Much more when I am more active and drop it lower when having lazy few days. Some meals with none.

    Fat however, I really take the piss and chug down. I really wish my body would process it as I prefer it as an energy source (does not make me feel tired etc). I pile on butter, hard cheese, soft cheese, olive oil to everything. Also fatty cuts of meat.

    Has no effect I am the skinniest now I have been for a long time and I literally exhaust myself eating.

    I've had my gall bladder removed. They say it makes no difference but oh yes it does. Makes a difference to the way my body handles everything, including alcohol.
