  • If by steroids you mean corticosteroids, like for inflammation. Then indeed a terrible thing to put in your body. Basically stress hormones, makes your body store fat and lose muscle tissue.

    Aim is to keep the calorie intake at 1500-1800 per day (and 30g-50g fat) and the exercise output 1000 calories plus.

    For a woman of average size, that calorie count may not be enough to drop fat. Depends of course. May I ask why you are pre-allocating a quantity of fat? Surely it does not matter how much fat you take in as long as it doesn't push you over you calorie quota?

    I personally suggest for all people, just eat clean and your body will sort itself out. Very difficult to be fat if you are eating sensible foods, not matter how much of eat you eat. Meat, Vegetables and treat calorie dense carb sources as treats, not staples.

    If someone is less concerned about body composition/health and just wants the scale to drop. Reliance on Fruit and Coffee (and little else) is great.
