That's true, I was actually tagging the gates, which were made in 1835 for Queen Victoria's jubilee, back when Fitzrovia was a 'royal enclave' and the BT tower a lookout point for the merchant navy. It's all in my book "Stuff about London that I just can't wait to tell you". Currently out of print.

I had so much fun working out finger_jockey's tag. CitySprint van in the background => their office is in Scrutton St => that is one way towards east => according to one-way arrow signs photo taken facing south => street is north of Scrutton St. Find a building site on StreetView that is in earlier stages than that in the photo. Ride there in the morning, BINGO.

Chewing gum painting, perhaps by Ben Wilson, in the small park that I've forgotten the name of on Whitfield Street.Chewing gum painting is indeed by Ben Wilson, I witnessed him making it.

Good tag. By the time I get there, it will be gone I fear.

Old: St. Peter's Italian Church, Brixton Road.
New!

You can't quite see it but there's a creepy purple serpent lurking behind that basketball hoop.

• #12660
This one's been on my list for a while. It looks fun
-
• #12661
Mine too. Will head there in the morning. Not far away from me.

• #12662
Is it a retag from a different angel?
-
• #12663
Aw bollocks, you're right. Here, have a new one! I've made this one especially easy for quick weekend game turnaround.
New new tag!

Hah, every family member who ever visits always comments on that place.
-
• #12665
Aw, I didn't mean to brake the tag, just a wee misspelt clue.

Being a bunch of RLJers and highway code breakers, none of you lot will ever have seen this.

Man, the temptation to go and get this is strong.
I can feel the force pulling me towards the saddle.
But I want my din-dins......
Used to be one of the oddest combinations of a pet shop and an art gallery / picture framers operating out of the same premises, just there. -

Does this count as a bike tag? pretty interesting place to go to who are interested in aquaponics! =)
-
• #12670
It does count as a tag, but you've got to find the old one first and then tag your bike at the new one. Welcome to the game.
-
• #12671
Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough; that would be an excellent new tag but you've got to find the old tag first.
-
• #12672
Suspect this will be snaffled by Monday evening. If not, I'm there...

Are we still on this one? Any chance of a clue?
-
• #12674
We're still on that one. Anybody skipping this tag should be bound for the dog house. In fact, they'd be avoiding it and heading to a safe (if frosty) haven.

If no one gets it before I get out of work... then maybe.
A tag doesn't claim everything in the immediate area, IMO. We have had a tag inside Postman's Park and one of the postbox outside; second tag was allowed and - I think - rightly so.
