Reads very scary. Hope the rider recovers and they catch the driver.

The good news is his injuries were not life threatening and the driver has been arrested.

Also, they've been charged with attempted murder. That's a very serious charge. No doubt further details of what motivated it will come out if/when it gets to court.

This happened almost outside my House... So glad they have arrested 2 people ! Unfortunately cars and Motorbikes regularly speed along this part of Harrow Road... Maybe the Police will finally do something about it..

I live around the corner and you're right, the arses treat it like a speedway. Kilburn Lane on the other side isn't much better either. I'm guessing that the stretch of Harrow Road between Great Western Road and Portnall Road is usually so congested that by the time they've gone past the traffic lights they just want to race to the next set of traffic lights 350 yards up the road.
Can't see how they're going to fix the situation other than a designated bus lane or cycle path for the entire stretch of road between Willesden and Maida Vale.

Good point Jaw, I just wish they would occasionally book a few of the regular offenders...

I passed through shortly after when police were arriving.
