Yeah I did, if I wasn't in a rush to get a bike together that I could ride for long distances (my other has ricers, tcb rack and clips and straps) then I would have waited.
problem being, the original turnaround time was 2 months, 4 months on and he still hadn't even started the frame, saying that he is a cool guy and does make top notch frames, at a really great price, just be prepared to wait for it.
I am very happy with the 14r though, it is a bit heavier than I expected, but what you lose there, you gain in how stiff it is, quicker than a lot of other frames iv had.
