Tourney: European Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships, 27 - 30th June 2013, Krakow

They all go through. What a joke.

A little harsh. The plan was for only 20 of 24 to go through.

I said that this was a bit shitty for the 4 teams that don't make it, and it only adds like 40 minutes to the groups, so we've expanded it to 64 teams. It's good to be inclusive.

But if more teams had turned up to the wildcard that wouldn't have been the case.

And there are only so many spots available in the main tournament, due to other countries not taking up all their spots, for various reasons.

The orginal plan was 9 teams from 36.

It seems Spain could do with a couple of extra players...

Yeah maybe a little harsh and I don't mean to add anything negative as I'm fully behind ukhbpc and supporting all you guys out there. Just the way it's now worked out makes it feel too open to anyone where as it was started with so many restrictions. I think next year the qualies for the euros should be kept seperate from uk champs and only those guaranteed to want to go should be playing. Wildcard is a whole other story...

It rained. Yep, on both Thursday and Friday. Got a respite today and it was mostly sunny. Fingers crossed it will be better tomorrow. LPC crew repping hard! ;)
