excessive flex somewhere in the drive chain perhaps. what setup do you have.

hmmn - nothing stands out from pics. chain looks in good condition - have you taken it off and checked every link?
from what you describe -esp with it happening under power, all i can think of is maybe the frame or rear mech flexing, pulling the chainline out and causing the chain to catch / rub somehow,

i replaced the chain to make sure there wasn't ny funny links

If you sit on the bike with the front brake on and push hard on the pedal while looking back at the drivetrain, does anything move? I'm wondering if the rear axle is broken.

Could it be the chain pulling the rear mech backwards, up into the cassette?
No idea whats wrong with my chain/chaindrive
every time i put any tourgue down, its like the chain has a stiff link init, it freezes up and makes a horrible clunking noise
i changed my chain and the problem still persists
any got any ideas??
i thought the chain might be too short??? no idea open to suggestions
