Here's a picture of me trying to trackstand it. It's so cool. The headtube about 3 cm longer on the kids Gitane than the Kalavinka! It's only 9.5kg too. I was thinking of entering the Rollapaluza Urban Hill Climb on it, but I'm away.

So they've took a once decent Leader frame and fucked it up.
Don't fix what isn't broke comes to mind.

And the kagero is meant to be decent once you get passed the price.

Found this today - frame is amazing. Kalavinka sprint frame with a ~90 degree seat tube, bi-lam one piece head tube lug (the head tube is like 8cm) and it's been raced. Amazing, rare decals and a gorgeous head tube badge.

The build? Not so much.

Yeah the base of the fork race has a wee rise to it hence the space for some reason. Same thing on my Roberts/Alpina... Was thinking about getting it machined possibly to eliminate the gap..

Thanks for the pics Mr B. Seems bizarre that everyone's favourite overpriced headset can have such a flaw. Even if it is just cosmetic, surely the hefty price should give you "perfection" ??
