The BBC's account from today suggests that it is unknown whether anyone else was involved. I live 2 or 3k away from there and pass that route often, both running and cycling. Just two weeks ago I had shooting nerves as my GF who is a much less experienced cyclist than me, flew down that hill ahead of me. Knowing the spot so well makes me feel sick. Thoughts to his family and friends.
