I can't make the Bikefest this Sunday (http://oxfordbikefest.com/), but was thinking of riding out to see the Benson Veteran Annual Cycle Club Rally on Sun 7th - anyone else is interested?
Some great photos of their 50th anniversary rally - http://www.flickr.com/photos/chiltern_images/sets/72157624492428303/

RIP.

Sad news. Do you have a link to the story? I ride or run very near there at least once a week.

I would have been interested in the veteran cycle club rally but my Mrs has already planned that weekend for me. Meetings with wedding caterers are more important apparently!
-

No worries. I'm not always too quick on the uptake, but does this mean you are getting hitched?
-
• #292
Im under the impression that he is.

Booga, if that's the case many congratulations!!
-
• #294
Thanks very much! Unfortunately the Mrs. Booga to be failed to check my finances before coming up with this suggestion. So I am now living off Tesco value bread with "red" flavoured jam and selling bits of old Volkswagen in an attempt to save up enough money for a wedding!
-
• #295
ah, but you'll live longer and if all goes well be happier too. At least that's what all the studies on marriage say anyway, though I think they also show that for chaps we are definitely less well off.
For what it's worth, from my experience it's a great institution and I probably should have done it earlier! Perhaps you need to put real jam on the wedding present list?

Ive been struggling to decide what to get them for a while now.
-

Preserves wouldn't look out of place on our wedding list, considering the mother in law thought chutneys were a suitable alternative to easter eggs this year!

Kona Paddy Wagon 2011 (black) - Stolen in Abingdon roughly two weeks ago.
I was storing this bike in my mums house, the garden shed to be precise. She left the shed unlocked one day and some cheeky c*nt theived it. It's well used, completely standard other than some cheap lights.
