The ski slope at the beginning of the a40 course :-)
I had a dodgy start and had to soft pedal the first few pedal strokes so as not to go under a truck. Then the finish seemed to arrive sooner than expected so I might have been able to give a bit more then too.
Overall, reasonably satisfied, I think I'm seeing some progress.
