Gaz this doesn't match. Damn nice though. Does it come in a 58?
-

It has the same lug-set, campag drop-outs, scalloped top eyes, and even a little "R" on the brake bridge:
It'll match if I respray it.(runs and hides)

Pardon my ignorance but in what way doesn't it match?
-
• #14
It's mainly the paint job that doesn't match.
I have a thing for matching bicycles -

SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hey all,
I have sourced another frame which is a bit better suited for my geared build so this is up for sale.
Its made from the outstanding Columbus TSX tubing which is for professional use, geeky spec: it has butted walls the frameset has five helicoidal internal reinforcements, thus giving greater rigidity against tube flexing and torsion. Lighter than SLX.
Measures: 54cm c-t seat tube and 54cm c-c top tube. Rear spacing is 130mm (OLN), front spacing 100mm. Bottom bracket standard 68mm and 27.2mm seatpost. Forks weigh 695g, Frame weighs 1.932 KG.
SOLD
This frame was custom made by Chas Roberts circa 1991 for it’s first owner, a Category 4 racer who used it for road racing. At the time, the original owner was sponsored by Brian Rourke Racing so the bike was fully re-sprayed from it’s original Roberts paint/decals into the nice Brian Rourke paint job and decals that it has now.
Please note that the headset is not included (although I have a nice condition Shimano 105 one spare), and the cable stops (campagnolo) are not included in the price, although i could sell the cable stops for a few more quid if the buyer wanted them
Paint is in pretty good condition for age but there are some scratches and some spots/chips of paint damage from normal use. Chrome on rear stay is really nice condition. No dents/dings. Frame is straight and true.
Roberts pantographs/logos on top of seat stays, both sides of fork crown and a Roberts “R” on top of rear brake bridge. Brazed on cable guides underneath bottom bracket.
The frame was recently taken back to Roberts and had the head tube faced, and the bottom bracket shell faced and BB threads chased so is in great condition, all ready for installation of cartridge BB or outboard BB cup set up as preferred.
Collection / viewing in Peckham
Thanks
