Ways not to lock your bike

Another cabe use warning. Spotted this as I left work this afternoon. It's under Bishop's Bridge on the footpath alongside the canal outside Paddington. An area I've previously considered relatively safe but it's all too quick and easy to get through one of these cables. In hindsight I should have taken the helmet and left a note for the unfortunate owner before that gets nicked too.

Stupid as the person must have been I feel for them man, they must have been totally gutted when they came back for their bike :(
