  • I saw a lady in hospital recently who, because of ignoring the symptoms of a disc prolapse, now potentially has irrevocable numbness in the dangly region and an inability to control when she wees.

    Not saying you shouldn't use acupuncture or any other wiffly waffly shamanism if it helps, but be wary that it won't have done anything to the root of the problem and prompt medical treatment is necessary toute suite if symptoms worsen.

    Had she been for acupuncture before going into hospital? Or is this post around 'wiffly waffly shamanism' more to do with your personal views on alternative therapies?
