Amazing! There was a documentary a few years ago about a guy having surgery to install deep brain stimulation. The moment they turned it on after the surgery was remarkable and very touching because it was the first time in years that he'd been able to hold his wife without shaking from his awful tremor.
I'm sure I've posted this before, but I think it's also great so I'll happily be nerged for the repost: Cycling as a temporary respite from Parkinson's. The video is astonishing.
