No. If the parcours is to fixed (as it should be to enable maximum spectator amusement) we should have evaluated the distance of the average Tours stage and transposed it onto our familiar territory.
So, if the average stage length for 2012 was 175k, that is equivalent to just under 73 laps of the death TT. Don't worry about the height, it's just a number but...eh-hem....4360m of climbing.
