2013-06-24 - Rider Down/Fatality, Loampit Vale (Lewisham, London)

A CYCLIST sustained a head injury in a collision near Lewisham Station this morning (June 24).

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.30am to reports of the accident in Loampit Vale.

I ran past this morning, hoping that it wasn't a cyclist.

So, they've got the driver now - but what kind of world do we live in that someone could be so callous as to know you've hit someone on a bike and could have seriously injured or killed them ..... and then carry on your merry way? Every day I see more and more incidences of lack of humanity.
