downloaded arkham city on xbl and worked my way through the main story line over last two days, really enjoyed it. not quite got the hang of the fighting mechanics yet (some of this big melees i had to do a couple of times as i wasn't blocking enough and got my arse kicked).
even though there's a lot of grind outside the main storyline i felt it was decently paced and the way the environment pulls you into other situations as you go (much like a real world superhero might find when crossing a city) means it doesn't ever really feel that linear.
shooting games have kind of ruined the stealth takedown sections a little though as I kept looking for the gun button so i could just shoot them, but ultimately sneaking up and smacking their heads in then disappearing in a cloud of smoke to stalk your next victim is equally rewarding i think.
