remember: Saturday mornings London Fields and Tuesdays Newington Gardens :-) woo hooo!

  • so i was thinking its about time i got my self my own mallet...any of the other beginner's up for a group order??

  • Lois! I have some spare ones if you need?

  • you do jess thats perfect...i'm away working at the moment but be back first week in july, sort it out then yep??

  • Hey L, do you have a boat to escape the rig ?
Anyone wants to play tomorrow after work?

  • Lois if you're done with that mallet I'll take it off you and pad or on to someone else who needs one. also poots and lolabelle have mallet s I gave them but they're not using... time to collect I think.

  • that should be pass it on to someone. cursed phone.

  • Hi guys, this is the - rather sad looking - leftover of my old polo bike. It's not without hope though. A double brake lever and pedals would come with it.
To get it going again you'd need to fix or replace the rear wheel + tire, get a chain and v-brakes. When building it 1 1/2 yrs ago, bottom bracket and cranks were new. I also replaced the handlebar grips. Anyone interested?
I just don't want to give it away for free. But don't want a fortune for it. Let's talk.

    This is gone now.

  • What size person is it suitable for?

  • Hey
Doesn't need much to re-build Paul's old bike. :) (wouldn't mind rebuilding it for anyone who is going for it. I have some bits that I can donate for it.

  • Dude, it's practically worthless... Let someone else get some use out of it...

  • Yes I know... Joe.

  • 165-185cms? I'm 178, but the saddle goes a bit more up and further down.

What size person is it suitable for?

  • So, who's in for tomorrow (saturday) morning London Fields? Come on!

  • Yep will do Kev thanks for the loan its been a great little polo companion.
io no boat for me for at least another week, going to put together my stowaway plan

  • oh also io maybe you could help me with my build i want to learn from scratch and all i have so far is a frame. When i'm done i can donate the bike i'm using at the moment.

  • yeah Lois, totally up for that. we can do that together/talk you through it :-) what frame do you have?

  • That be totes amaze io if you could, its a charge scissor

  • In - for a bit at least

  • That be totes amaze io if you could, its a charge scissor

sweet! i'm going to pm you :-)

Paul, see you tomorrow :-) x

  • Hey Io and co,
Thinking of popping along tomorrow (or rather today!) London fields in the morning... and bringing a friend.. is there anyone out there who could lend us a mallet? We are complete beginners with out own basic hybrid street bikes and no other equipment but willing to give it a try..will anyone be there at 10? or are we best to aim for later?
    Cheers
    Rach
