Wanted: Bike for my girl 47-49cm

Looking for a nice bike for my girlfriend. She's "outgrown" the two builds I've setup for her over the last four years (first a vintage folding shopper, and her current Peugeot Monte Carlo). She's a daily commuter from Dalston to the City and has done a couple longer rides with me as well. She's developed a little of the swagger of a road-weathered rider and needs a bit more bike now. Anybody have any nice completes (or nearly completes) that will suit her? 47-49cm will work. Doesn't have to be a ladies frame, so don't just be thinking step-thru or mixte please! And nothing higher than £350 please, we are on a budget here.

I'll consider interesting frame sets as well if that is all you got.
