    If it does happen, then it will certainly be a statement of intent.
    He has proven top level ability - he is not the striker I would have chosen but we were rumoured for him back when he moved from River in the first place, so there is obviously a long standing admiration of him from Wenger.

    I'd really like to tie up the Fellaini deal if there were truth in that, we were supposed to have met his buyout clause but as yet not had permission to speak to him? Which sounds like hot BS to me...

    Since when has Fellaini been a striker?!
