• Just got my fingers on this from a fellow LFGSS member. Its a newly repainted SBDU Raleigh frame in sweet 70's green colour with Brian Rourke decals. Story is the previous owner bought it in a similar colour with BR decals and therefore got it restored in the same, not knowing it is actually a Raleigh. It turns out it has quite a low SB number of 945 and therefore is quite an early team raleigh frame 1976/77. Therefore it was probably restored by BR in the past and therefore thats how it got its BR decals.

found the original sale on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brian-Rourke-road-frame-1970s-22-75-unmarked-and-beautiful-531-Campagnolo-/271201172657?nma=true&si=An%252BhQ1gnMHiWXMctug6XFes%252F2LY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I'm planning to build it up as a single speed. Using parts from my current Raleigh

    Parts on this are -

    FSA Gimondi Cranks 48T
    Tange BB
    Galli brakes
    Campag Nuovo Record HS
    Brooks Swallow
    Cinelli Criterium Bars
    Shimano Levers
    Shimano Freewheel 16T
    Mavic rims Quando hubs
    Panaracer Tour guard Gumwall tyres
    Giles berthoud Guards
    Unbranded stem and seat post

I think on this frame though it might look good with flat bars so I've just bought a pair of Tektro FL750 Levers and some PDW Leather bourbon grips in black to match the brooks saddle
