it could be later though, as there is no mention of the Competition model in the 1994 catalog,
this is wrongly listed as a Technos, it's a Competition, but is Art decor, and states 1999

on the later steel Nags, the paint finish is almost shell like around the tubes, this can mean the paint can crack and flake in places,
eg, my 96 master had a few little flakes, where as the 92/92 master has a different paint that seems to adhere to the steel better
You can view the 2001 catalog at velobase, here you can see a late technos, but no Competion, so you need to be looking at catalogs circa 94-00 to get bang accurate age, none are online as yet
