Finally got round to ordering and installing the correct memory upgrade in the 2009 20" iMac last night. Got the maximum 4 gig in there now. Am keeping the hard drive totally free of data by using a 1TB external drive and dropbox. Logic 9 is whirring and purring like a dream. Will probably do the SSD thing soon as well. Awesomes.
