I wonder if advertsing for a woman to work in the shop is illegal.
Yes it probably is discriminatory - but to be fair Rich hasn't gone that far - all he's said is "We'd like to represent women amongst the staff a little bit more." -

So we're to assume that, in the spirit of Equal Ops, pretty much all the other identified groups/categories are already well represented, and it's not just tokenism?

No, but I understand gaggles is now his "security consultant"...
Markyboy, why do you continue to do this? Its about the third time on this forum you have made reference (sniffily) in regard to my profession. I don't work in advertising, design, or architecture and my line of work is neither glamourous nor attractive, but it is my line of work.
Personally, I respect everyone's job, as its necessary for them, and their customers. But maybe I'm just different.
If I provide my services to the next Olympics (to which I have been invited), I will post on here pics, just like from the London 2012 Olympics. Its really not the worst life in the world.

Don't be such a sensitive flower. You start throwing insults around 8 posts into this thread, when people have simply filled in the gaps for the OP who couldn't be bothered to do his research (yes, I know we're going over old ground here), don't be surprised if people have a pop back.
I couldn't give a fuck what people do for a living. I've shared a hotel room with Clive and he's a reinsurance lawyer, for Christ's sake... But I'm sorry, I do find job titles with "consultant" in them funny, and "security consultant" is even funnier. You haven't helped yourself by reminding the forum that you're a bit of a hard-case with your occasional thinly-veiled threats and references to how you'd sort things out. I know you'll deny this, and I know that anyone who's been on here for more than five minutes will know that it's true. That's the problem when you make your own bed.
I'm not sure I understand what you're on about with the Olympics, or what it has to do with anything. Maybe you were a Game Maker, or maybe you're trying to impress us, or possibly explain what a "security consultant" is... well done, if that's what floats your boat.
Anyway, haven't you already said a couple of times that you've unsubscribed from this thread? Nice to have you back.
