This is a wonderful post by Innerring, which details a few of the climbs and descents of the upcoming Tour:

Wiggins is definitely out - can't train with that knee and playing second fiddle to Froome is no way to retire

taps nose

No, it's his 'knee'.. you'll find it below the Froome bone.

I thought a tap on the knee was a cure for water on the knee

Source?
I was sat outside Bar Italia the other day next to a couple of suit/lawyer/doctor types....one was telling the other, said he had to keep it under wraps but it defo happened

Got a bet on that Froome is never behind Cadel on GC for the duration of the Tour.
Or, should I say I'm betting on Cadel being in front of Froome at some stage during the Tour.
Any other silly bet ideas?

Silly bets you say...
Sagan to win.
I'm jesting of course. Schleck might be best long odds bet. I really don't think he'll win. But I do like long odds. Mmmmm. Long odds.

4 Brits, definite improvement on the Giro. I hope Stannard takes a few names

I'd say they are going to miss having one of the Columbians in there. Looks very much like a creeping death approach again but doesn't have a change of pace option to counter attacks other than Froome himself.

Froome gets the tour, Uran the vuelta, wiggins a free pint from the landlord

If you didn't l;isten radio 5 live did 100 years of the tour 2h programme last night. Brilliant. Must listen.

I thought it was a bit painful watching them getting burnt up as climbing domestiques for Froome and Vuelta, prefer not to see that again. Kiriyenka is an utter beast, Porte should eb a GC contender in his own right, Siutsov is an excellent climber and the Brits are all very handy. Plus you got EBH as puncheur.

Cheers. I'd completely forgotten about this! I'm staying until Monday anyway so all's OK.
