Does the auto-pause make the beep like when you manually pause? I only have the Edge 200 which I am pretty sure does not auto-pause (at least I have not looked into this) and her 500 (i think) was definitely making the "can't lose 3 seconds of my ride time" beep.

Most computers pause when stationary, no? They record total time and moving time. Even my little Cateye does that automatically.
