im from vienna austria, working as a messenger for over 5 years and im tryin to build a nice, light new bike now. maybe you can help me/know some nice stuff :)
right now im riding a tokyo fixed dart with miche pistard front wheel and self build archetype/lowhub wheel rear, omnium 48, old 3t dropbar, vredestein tricomp, titanio saddle.....and so on, who cares, its all black and i like it......its around 7,8kg which is kind of "ok" for a steel frame. but since i have a second 30h/w job and i can almost never go to the track (trainingtimes/work time) i mostly ride around in the forrest/hills whatever you would call that (the uk has probly less mountains than austria;) 50-100km with 500-1000m climb on 48x17. its big fun i love to race all the old roadbike fags but i need a lighter bike to go faster.
i orderd a vigorelli but i dont really like it (looks, heavy fork)
im interessted in the low bikes, but i think its a "fixie trend" thing and its like 3748743 months waiting time. but the are under 1,5kg/frame
ldg aero sounds nice and i could get a look 464 for cheap (around 1.8kg with fork)
dosnoventa tokyo looks fucking nice but its pricey.
i want a frame under 1.5kg alu (or carbon maybe if not too pricey)
around 1000€ but less would be nice of course....
fork maybe the 3t rigida stealth around 340g (or the ltd 280g)?
wheels am classic track, around 1400g/pair ?
if my calculations are right the bike should be around 6kg in the end ?!
any suggestions?
thx a lot !

search ingria bicycles online mate, they have a claimed weight of 1.3-4kg and are €500, and look pretty damn cool. The rest you could spend on upgrading to the 3t ltd's and get some lightweight components if that's what you're interested in, u.s.e. do pretty lightweight stuff for components like stem, handlebars and seatpost (if you do want a use seatpost i have a 27.2 alloy one for sellz, pm me), in terms of wheels, mack hubs are the lightest and you could get halo aerotracks (rebranded kinlin 270's) for a light, strong wheelset.
