• Hi,
I have for sale an early 90's 52.5cm (seat tube ctc) 53cm (tt ctc) Zullo FRAME & FORKS in Oria's finest KK tubing with ORIGINAL Zullo forks, Campag Record Headset with custom made spacer and Helicopter tape protection (easily removed).
I bought this NOS and have done much less than 100 miles on her.
It has been verified by Tiziano Zullo as completely original (email print-outs are available to buyer) and importantly has original forks! Many frames come on to the market without forks or un-original repainted ones. This has original pantographed straight chromed forks. Chromed rear sections and chromed front mech hanger. There are only the most minor imperfections in the paint just as a frame that has been in storage for a while.
The custom spacer is there because I did not want to cut the steerer. (you can see by now how super fussy I am)
The tubing changes size/shape and is lugged at BB and seat cluster and fillet brazed at head - this is a really beautiful feature.
I am only selling as I have no room and I promised the misses that I'd sell the Zullo as I just bought a SAB.
All in this frameset as it is cost me almost exactly £500 and to save all the bargaining I would like to get** £275 cash COLLECTION ONLY** . I think this is silly cheap and if it doesn't sell I am quite happy to keep it -especially as Zullos are very costly today.

Frame is in High Barnet (end of Northern line)
    Dibs followed by PM please.

  • whats the top tube length?

  • "...an early 90's 52.5cm (seat tube ctc) 53cm (tt ctc) Zullo..."

  • It's a common practice among builders to make the steerer about 2cm longer than the ideal length for the headtube+4cm for headset

  • Seems to be exactly the same size as my existing bike (which doesnt fit), better leave it and put my faith in this years cycle jumbles...

  • If you bought from the frame builder direct, I imagine the cutting to size and headset installation would be part of the service. Optional, but usually done. Just like paintjobs.

  • Re use of spacer. By leaving the steerer uncut you are not limiting the headset stack height and so can use any headset and simply use different spacer. Also , you could probably use some 1" ahead stem systems if you wished. I just didn't want to take a hack saw to a beautiful frame and do something irreversable. If prefer it cut it is not difficult - measure, mark , put on Jubilee clip, saw, remove clip, smooth with file -done!

  • dibs, subject to questions

  • NOW SOLD, Thanks Senecio. And thanks Giorgosd for your input, Si
