I don't agree with minimum wage for anyone but it may well be suitable for a very menial job like, I would imagine, filling shelves in Tesco. To offer someone minimum wage (and be so unprofessionally throw away about it) to do a sales position which involves a lot of technical knowledge and interaction with the public seems like very bad business. I can imagine that any bike shop doing well enough to have 3 stores on or around cycle superhighways/major cycle commuter routes could afford to at least pay properly for good staff.
