Tonight's highlight was admiring the lovely, orange, custom Rourke, fixed TT bike belonging to the chap parked next to me.
One of many lowlights was dropping my chain when I was on the start-line, 5 seconds before the off. I got it back on and set off a bit behind schedule only to find blood spatteing my legs. Took me a while to work out it wasn't coming from my face (I used to have a history of nosebleeds) and that I'd opened my finger trying to get the chain back on.
