Hi, would standard 700 road wheels run ok on this frame or would they need to be 26 MTB wheels? Cheers

It's a 29er frame hence standard 700c wheels would fit it.

Though bear in mind that you'd need a 135mm rear hub, rather than a 130mm.

nope it's still here...
I've started building it up into a beater 29er but I'd sell it if you want the build so far?
here's some pics of a mock up build as it stands:
(Wheels not included - but try and picture it with 2.2" knobblies!!)
What it needs:
-seatpost/clamp - I have a battered white Rolls for it
-headset - trading for one tomorrow
-wheels - rear 120mm spacing
-and the repair to the NDS dropout. -
