A 3/32 chain will not work with a 1/8 chainring or cog, but a 1/8 chain will work with a 3/32 chainring and cog.
Any geared chain will be 3/32 (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 speed).
Just buy a 1/8 chain and you'll be fine... and it will probably be the cheapest.
