Hi there! I'm pretty new to this, although I've ridden a few bikes in my life. I just missed an ebay auction what seemed to be a ridiculously cheap deal.
I just wanted to ask someone who's got some experience whether this was a deal of a lifetime or I really didn't miss anything? Take a look at this Holdsworth Cyclone 1950s bike, that was repainted and had new aftermarket parts fitted on to it - Holdsworth Cyclone 1950s [link]: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Holdsworth-Retro-Vintage-1950s-Road-Bicycle-Fixie-Single-Speed-/121117304509?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEDWX%3AIT&nma=true&si=XunwcPubCJysLP3f3Q5d2FNlCsQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
I did some math and the parts(certainly not the best out there) accounted for maybe half or more of the price it was sold for (£275).
Thanks for your help!
Best,
Kris
