From the pictures here and from what looks like the same one here that seems to be the case. Presumably I wouldn't be able to use the actual threads on the Fixxer, and would still need something to screw onto the freewheel thread on the hub?

Sorry to keep harping on, but I still don't really understand what I'd need to convert the disc to track use, if not Hed's own kit.

As the Surly Fixxer thread piece seems to only slot onto the splines for a freehub body, I don't see how that piece could be made to work with a wheel with a freewheel thread on.
