A thought that has been suggested to SadR: post a thread, fixed gear only, rad builds, track, NJS whatever, but just clean, well built fixed gear bikes that show up on here. For me HHSB is something quite distinct

the lack of track bikes is a result of way more stringent laws that are actually enforced, i'm pretty sure its illegal to only ride front brake over there, let alone brakeless.

I kinda got the impression that bike theft was fairly low judging by the amount of shitty locks people used, and bike with just a lock around the wheel but not actually locked to anything.

All the Americans losing their shit, shouting about the flag made me lol a bit. Good crash, surprised everyone seemed to come out of that ok.

There is less track racing tradition outside UK, so it's harder to get a track bike. People use to start riding fixed with a shitty create-alike bike or a road conversion.

For some people this feeling is too intense, then they move on to riding regular bikes.
