  • boss day

  • Bloody chilly, though.

  • Herr Schick, near Fyfield, half nine or thereabouts. Sorry it was a wave only, Oliver. I'd just hit a section of tailwind on a reasonable bit of road, and had waited patiently for just that sort of payback after a morning of headwind. I was about 60 miles in by that point, and keen to crack on. Hope you had a pleasant ride.

  • The CS Grupetto peloton rumbling through just outside Chertsey and a couple of forum cap wearers changing a tyre on the same stretch.

  • Cinelli MASH bolt behind me in Evans West End. Deep black HSons, Omniums, Concor, rain tail and bull horns. Naice.

  • Miss Mouse on Camberwell Church Street. Nice to see you again.

I everyone else. Thanks for not inviting me to Thorpe Park. Even though I would neither have the time nor money to attend

  • This morning going South a trispoke waiting out of a side street on to Kingsland Road. Then a beanie. Under the beanie mountaingoatmatt. Shouted Matt but you looked confused. No wonder, I was wearing these.

I could have done with these yesterday. twice side winds blew that tree stuff (pollen?) into my eyes, once when i was about to hit a roundabout at speed.

  • Chertsey

What were you doing in my ends? Poor you...

Holla [hopefully you got a respectful nod from the grumpie train]

Spotted the forum caps but wasn't able to stop and check that everything was ok with their mechanicals as I was chewing the stem trying to keep up with some of our faster boys

Great to see you too. Hope the falafel were good.

Aw dude, you have to keep your eyes peeled, the thread's not a closed one: http://www.lfgss.com/thread107198.html If you search using the keyword '2013-06' you'll find all the rides for June.

I've heard the place is swarming with hyperactive, snotty-nosed, hungover, ultra-competitive fixe-skidders though* so reckon you made a lucky escape. ;)

*not based on any actual evidence.

  • Completely forgot about this stealth spot going into central yesterday on Jamaica Road yesterday around 11:30am a guy on isp carbon all black track bike with 90mm carbon rims front and back, proper strong look on a Saturday morning! =)

Good to see you--I'd just been talking about you, too. I'd mentioned that you went out at 7 (or perhaps you'd gone even earlier--we'd started at 8) to get clear roads and to be back early. I completely understand about the wind--we did fifty miles into it (to Sible Hedingham) and really enjoyed the return leg. It made a rather welcome change from the block headwind I rode back into for about 70 miles from Lavenham last year after Stu F's ride.

  • the always serene JahTim in the Peoples Republic of Tooting.

Sorry dude was on the phone trying to get directions to a toddlers birthday party in the park, would have been great to chat to you otherwise, it's been yonks!

  • Got DAS'd on Oxford St. about 6.30 this evening by a tall chap in a grey jumper (?), sorry didn't oblige, was on the way home from a hellish Sunday at work with a horrendous hangover, best I could manage was a meek/possibly creepy smile. Hello, anyway! Did cheer me up.

  • What were you doing in my ends? Poor you...

    Windsor loop. I like Chertsey!

I recognised the kits - saw you anchored at the back, I assumed you were riding last wheel ready for a sprint finish. Where'd you been?

  • Guy with a trispoke on Mill Ln in maida vale. I wahey'd and you mumbled something. On here?

  • ^^Clearly you haven't seen it in all its glory...

Hello - wasn't a tyre but a snapped chain. All good though!

Thanks for not inviting me to Thorpe Park. Even though I would neither have the time nor money to attend

There was a thread about it, everyone was invited! Next time...

  • Saw Kati this morning on Vauxhall Bridge (as ever!!) and then Emma Trott near clapham common this evening. Good day for ladies what ride.

I left home at a tardy 6.40am today. Still managed to get 82 miles done and be home by 11 though, despite all the lights on the way in and out of town. Had a lot of domestic stuff to get done, plus think about creativity in lieu of engaging in it :/

    Who were you riding with?

  • Who did I share a knowing nod with on Wandsworth Road around 7pm? You: blue hoody, white-ish frame, heading towards Clapham. Me, shattered from Ditchling Devil, red frame with bullhorns.

  • Who were you riding with?

    My friend Brenda.

  • The entire original Fucktones line-up at the Prince Regent this afternoon
We're Gettin the Band Back Together - YouTube

  • Probably run out of money and hoping for a reunion tour.

  • Chap with a forum cap and very orange bag near epping forest early this afternoon.
