It's tempting, but I had a plan and it would mean straying from it. My plan was to shoot film until there's a good full frame compact for an acceptable price tag. I think it's maybe 1-3 years until we're there. The Sony RX1 is paving the way, all we need now is lower prices and lenses we can swap.
The xpro1 seems to be the perfect camera to plug that gap, but how much will it lose in value the next 3 years? My 5D didn't lose a penny over two years, and still a good deal when I sold it. The replacement, the GX1, hasn't held value anywhere near as good.
Or maybe money isn't the big issue here, maybe I should just get a camera that I like and get on with it.
