Have a paganini steel frame, that has a busted fork. Nice frame, no damage to it, but the fork is bent.
Think its columbus tubing. -

I'm doing the exact same thing so please let me know how your rebuild goes. I have an Ultegra groupset off an runined Planet X Alu frame and want to get a nice steel frame. I imagine the main issues will be, as you say 11/8th forks, but also maybe headset as steel frames mostly take old school quill stems, perhaps also bottom bracket and someone told me front mech (could be difficult to mount).
Very interested to see how you find the transfer.
I have an ultegra groupset I want to put on a frame to make a winter trainer. I also have carbon forks 1 1/8th that ideally I will fit, but I understand this is unlikely with steel frames.
I'm looking for a 60cm road bike (58cm ish top tube) that can take gears, full mudguards and preferably a rack.
531 or more would be fantastic as this would double up as a backup racer.
