Litter tray - checked
Water bowl - checked
Food bowl - checked
Affection - checked
Garden - checkedNow the question, where to get 1? I am thinking about the Bttersea dogs and cats home, anyone has experience with them??
The problem is though, I don't like kids, not even other people's...
Shoosh - do you shoot your V8 with a water pistol?? It sounds fun... not sure what the cat thinks... hummmm...
If you abandon (I am not saying anyone should) something in a cardboard box, at least they can be found? But in a suitcase, they could just die... both you are right, some people are just plain cruel...

Yes, I have a water gun, so if V8 attempts to scratch the new chairs he might get wet. These days though I only have to pick it up and he stops. He learnt very early on that the kitchen worktops are a no-go area.
It is particularly useful when the V8 cat alarm goes off at 4.30 am demanding breakfast, even though his food bowl is full. ( I know when it's empty because he jumps on the bed and paws my face to get up)

I remember I got woken up at about 6 by my friend's cat when I stayed round coz she though I was them. Would it be too mean to ban my 'future' cat from doing this? I do love my beauty sleep...

Tesla is going orangey/blond in the sun- predominantly on her back between her shoulders and the end of her tail.
Any of her brothers/sisters doing this?
-
• #357
Nope. Not Dixon that I've noticed. Although he doesn't really sleep in the sun much.

Tesla is roaming around all day at the moment, in the direct sun more often than not (from casual observation), she seems to be going the same colour that her dad was- so Dixon being a previous generation might not have the "solar" gene.

"surfer" gene.

Hah! Well, my girlfriend has told Tesla that she'll put her in the bin if she doesn't stop changing colour.
Hopefully Tesla will be happy in there, as she appears to be slowly becoming more and more "surfer".

I think I've heard of your girlfriend.

Do you know what? Shinobi is all black but in the sun he looks more like chestnut/reddish chocolate than black!
-

Lolabelle- that's what I'm talking about, have you seen the pictures of the father?
Great big ball of (angry looking) fur, a reddish/chestnut tinge all over.

Actually, this may be happening to our other cat Charlie. She's always been a very dark brown (which most see as black), but it's much more obvious brown now. She was sick recently so I though maybe that had something to do with it? Charlie, on the other hand, does like to sleep in the sun.

I haven't seen the dad. Do you have a picture? I will try to upload later picture of Shinobi with his "step" brother who is also all black but when you compare them you can see that they are completely different colours.

I don't have a picture- George Sportif showed me a video of the father than he had on his phone.
Here is Tesla a little while ago- you can just see the reddish tinge, it's gone much lighter since I took this photo:

That's exactly how Shinobi looks (but all over)! In fact Markypoos said to him that he is a imposter, we wanted black ninja kitten not a chocolate fluff ball and he should start packing his suitcase hehe

Mogget goes the same way in the sun

Moses is the same! Shall we get together and have a kitteh dip-dye session? -

My no-name cat is the same. Looks black&white, but in reality those patches are greyish or brown/black.
+1 for the name Tesla
