2013-06-23 - Brixton CC Super Madison 2013

Brixton Supermad is back bigger and better than before.

Sunday 23 June 2013, 12.30pm.

We have a full program of racing for all categories including -

• Senior/Junior male madison events, culminating with Big Rob's 42 lap Super Madison
  
• Senior/Junior support endurance events for non madison riders - scratch, points and devil
  
• Senior/Junior sprint and keirin, open to all riders with a qualifying time trial at 12.30
  
• Full program of races for women, including keirin, with extra prizes very kindly donated by Brixton Cycles and other sponsors (TBC)
  
• The Ron Beckett double harness pursuit back with a new twist - mixed doubles! Madison pursuit with mixed teams of Women/vets & senior A cat male riders.
  
• Youth races including invitational madison for A riders and human paced keirin
  
  
  

Plus there will be a beer tent with the finest beer and cider known to man, jerk BBQ, stalls, bike jumble, music and other entertainment throughout the afternoon. The Rollapaluza youth rig will also be there with a roller racing for youth riders.

You can pay by BACS or send a cheque with your entry form by snail mail. Unfortunately I don't have the info to hand but if you email Judith at brixtonsupermad@gmail.com she'll send you the details.

Alternatively you can give your entry form and payment to me, Judith or Hillbilly at Wednesday night track league.

I am a track noob (about to do my last basic session and enter inters) so I am generally there on saturday but I can always drop by Brixton Cycles on way home some day .. is BACS a normal bank transfer? If so that would be easiest. I have already emailed the form and asked these questions in the email.

Yeah, hopefully Judith will get the details to you soon. You can always leave it with Jim Hillbilly in the shop.

We were actually looking at getting some screen prints done to sell on the day but couldn't find anyone who would do a small run. 7 colour artwork doesn't help with the cost either, though 6pt was going to redo the artwork in 4 colours with a little loss of detail.

If anyone knows someone who would be willing/able to produce a run of about 15-20 at a reasonable price I'm all ears.

I may know someone but note sure if he has the equipment any more will do some digging and PM you.

Talk to a camberwell college of arts / University or arts London student, I'm sure there are some on here, camberwell and LCC have amazing screen printing facilities and very easy access if you are a student (I remember doing a lot of prints there)

A qualifying time trial of 12.30s? Not going to be many people racing if the track league record is 12.40s and no one got below 12.50s in the recent TTs!!!! Will it just be off the fastest times?
