I've just been through my stack of sprockets and not all say "Campagnolo". I'd not thought about it before and it's not consistent, ie I have the same sprocket both with and without branding.
Possibly it depends on the group or when they were manufactured; possibly I've bought some ringers?
However, they do all have a timing mark over the small spline: either "c" in a diamond or a triangle pointing outwards.
They also state the number of teeth and either "A", "B" or "C" depending on which cassette they make up.
I've not used 9v so can't be certain, but the hubs are different so I'm dubious: but obviously it isn't the original lockring.

Is it definitely Exa Drive?
