I asked the guy at fairy-world over the phone:
"So how come I can book as a foot passenger, take my bike apart (its within permitted dimensions) and put it in an Ikea bag and pay £20 less, but can't just ride my bike on?"
He said:
"It goes by the weight and they can't have that many bikes on board."
