  • Oops I may have added an extra T in my anagram.

    BOB'S HELMET t*R*ial

    Or
    BOSH TREMBLE

    Apologies...
Further clue disassembly- the last part of the clue is related to a place about 3 doors down which does excellent American diner food.

  • Further clue as to street name/ a development on my sibilant clue earlier.

Though your tribunal may have gone badly, this saint will look after you in jail.

  • Start with:

    Lunchtime Clue: (for location):
Taking a line directly south from tag #182 will show you where this clue is.

    then add this:

It could be said that the **shine **of the previous tag would be lessened by the use of this one.

    But

Ok, new clue for afternoon viewers.

*BOB'S HELMET TR*ial went well, though the laps of the park meant he bonked and needed to grab a Rye and Pickle.
That gives the location, what it is, and should be enough.

was the simplest one so far ;)

  • Well, I think we can all agree that this has gone well and cryptic clues are definitely the way forward. If we can throw in a riddle too then so much the better.
Now, Henners, you go and sit over there and think about what you have done.

  • ^ I can't work out the clue in this, it's way too cryptic for me.

  • If we can throw in a riddle too then so much the better.

There was a young man from Narbonne
Who blew himself up with a pump
    The ensuing helter skelter
Sent the crowds running for miles
And a smell to rival Le Pong

  • Enough talk!

  • Someone who can be arsed to work this out just go and get this tag. It's a lovely day for a ride, and I wanna see pretty pictures, not do a crossword.

  • Its ages since I've got a tag, but this was perfect for a lunchtime ride out:
    Old:

    Leonard Court, Mortlake

It turns out Leonard is the patron saint of prisoners

    New:

    (see below)

  • I like you, you can stay.

  • Cluuuuue! :)

  • Not Leonard, but here lyeth in his oanely resting place PJ, a bit of a Leonardo, a Regency ray harryhausen, charlatan and snake oil salesman

  • old

    new

  • Thanks BQ - less haste more speed...

The pulled pork sandwich from Pickle and Rye en route was delicious. http://www.pickleandrye.com/

  • So I explain:

I'm attempting cryptic clues for the first time. I have decided to change it as it didn't work.

It could be said that the shine of the previous tag would be lessened by the use of this one.

    Shine= sheen
Take the shine off- bomb shelter (yes I realise they are anti aircraft).

2nd clue because tmw is going to be sunny too...

This part for the street name (contains name of street and type of street)
A sensible saint to sollicit, should you be sentenced to a stretch in his session.

This part for what sort of thing you're looking for on le google:
Specifically if seeking sanctuary from sinful shot.

Saint Leonard- patron saint of prisoners.
Sentenced to a stretch = court
    And bomb shelter again

    Lunchtime Clue: (for location):
Taking a line directly south from tag #182 will show you where this clue is.

    It is directly downwards...

Ok, new clue for afternoon viewers.

*BOB'S HELMET TR*ial went well, though the laps of the park meant he bonked and needed to grab a Rye and Pickle.
That gives the location, what it is, and should be enough.

Bobs helmet tr= bomb shelter t (cos I can't spell right)
And pickle and rye is next door

Its ages since I've got a tag, but this was perfect for a lunchtime ride out:
    Old:

    Leonard Court, Mortlake

    New:
    (see below)

It's in east sheen! But next to mortlake station indeed.

  • Glad you liked the sandwich- they are really good!

Also at will my last clue was barely cryptic...
I was getting desperate with clues tbh.
I thought people would get it quicker...

    But I do apologise.
My next tag won't be so ridiculous to decipher.

  • Finally!

That frame looks huge, what size is it?

  • Genuinely thought I had it. Until I realised I hadn't when I got there. D'oh.
    Close enough right?

  • Preeetty sure you're missing something there..

  • Like the correct fucking church?

  • Like the correct fucking church?

was thinking the correct tree, but i guess you're right too.

  • Yay. Another church.

  • Blessed are the cheesemakers

  • I mainly hang around in cemeteries - my last tag was a mausoleum too.
    Today's clue:
Roundabout here, under the cherry trees, lies another painter, proud Englishman, who would not have thought much of PJs frenchified ways

frame's a 63, not quite big enough really...

  • nice bike
