• I've used this frameset as a geared audax bike, and more recently my fixed commuter, although I've since bought new fixed and audax frames so unfortunately Wilson has to go.

Although it has no decals I have confirmed with the framebuilders that it is indeed a J.F.Wilson custom built frame. According to the gent at wilson i contacted:

its a Reynolds 531 frame (best tubing ever made bar none....carbonfire does not come close) made by my father circa 1985...
    Which is pretty cool :)

It has braze-on mounts for mudguards and racks, both front and rear. And has recently had a new headset fitted by a LBS.

    Dimensions

    Seat tube (CTC) ** 59cm**
    Top Tube (CTC) 56cm

The frame and paintjob is generally in great condition, with no dents but a fair few little paint chips around.
There are particular areas to note, both shown in the pictures.
1).on the seat cluster there are some lines what looks like cracks in the paint from tightening the seatpost clamp. It was like that when I bought it and it hasn't progressed, but it is worth noting.
2). Some paint on the non drive side seat stay has been rubbed off by a tyre.

Price is £120 collected from Stratford, East London
I can post but priority is to those who can collect.
