bear in mind it's bloody windy and you want to be able to accelerate out the corners.

^this, but in all seriousness they reccomend 48x15 for most track crits, but you have to take into account of the slope at the finish/start point and then the sharpe right handed after that, so probably 72 is pretty sensible, but i would do some test runs to find out which ratio is best for you for a 20 minute race period! =)
