Some nice looking bits of kit - congratulations.

No womens stuff. Le sigh.
There is a gap in the market for 'normal' women's cycling clothing.
Someone please fill it.Nice stuff though, good work!

thanks guys - appreciate that.
Wicksie - we are keen to do womens stuff, it's obviously a little bit more difficult with less women riding, meaning smaller demand. We're hoping to bring out a few items next year though.
For anyone interested, we're gonna run a coupon code just for the forum - 20% off storewide - just type in omerta at checkout, then chuck in your LFGSS username in the comments section at purchase.

I'm really feeling the jean shorts, but how do they fit in the thigh area? my quads/hams are far from impressive, but they defy a lot of high-street product these days, especially that which leans towards skinny fitting, as the shorts seem to. it's a lot of shipping/return to pay if they don't fit!

I'm liking the short, obviously being a new company I'll be a bit skeptical at first to see how they are, but pretty keen on them.

Sorry for delay guys, didn't realise there had been more posts.
Giles - size chart for the jean shorts is here -
http://www.creuxcycling.com/images/creux/jeanshorts_size_charts.jpg
They're certainly not baggy around the thigh, but not super tight. the 2% lycra in them makes a big difference too - a lot less restrictive than normal denim.
Ed - we're pretty confident you'll like the shorts in the flesh - if we send them over and you think they're no good, will gladly refund your money.

Bonsch, do you have these in any stores in Oz?
-
• #9
Yep - we are in Northside Wheeler and Saint Cloud in Melb, Sable and Argent and Bondi bikes in Syd.

awesome that you got permission from Timm Koln/Rouleur to use that pic of Cancellara, that can't have been easy to get.
-
• #12
nice stuff.

Ha, funny you should ask, as we were just discussing it. Definite plan for 'em, hopefully available early next year.
Yeah, it was awesome we got to use Fab - can't take the credit though Andy from fyxomotasis got Timm permission - we did that tee as collaboration with Fyxo for the 'melburn roobaix'

Did he reshoot Fab or was it a photoshop job?
That was a lovely set that Koln shot http://www.timmkoelln.com/the_peloton/

It all certainly looks good and there's definitely a couple of items I'd be happy to wear but as Ed says, the proof is always in how it fits and how it wears.
Nice work guys!
Edit: Why the name Creux? (Just curious!)

Nice looking stuff!
Excitingly I'm gonna be in Sydney in a couple of weeks and have been eagerly looking for some reinforced crotch jeans to ride in, having busted my balls through about 5 pairs of regular jeans!
Hopefully that Sable and Argent store will have some mediums in stock!

Any plans for UK sotckists? Tops, I can live with, but trying on jeans and shorts first always makes sense.

Big Daddy - just photoshopped.
Hotdog - it's a french word - with respect to cycling, means a dent in your tube. Pronounced 'crew' - so also we liked for that.
nacho - will double check with S&A tomorrow to make sure they have the jeans in stock and post back.
Joe - we would love UK stockists - keen to sort out a distributor who can help us out, as we got a few donuts when we contacted stores direct - hard to sell over email i guess.

Ah, I see. I learned creux in school as 'hole' and used to mean hungry. Back to school for me!

Nacho - S&A have only got the denim shorts in there at the moment coming into spring.
Bondi Bikes have the full range of jeans and shorts though

LFGSS20
Fellas,
Myself and a fellow forumite recently started our own clothing brand called Creux. In a line, 'streetwear' made for riding.
http://www.creuxcycling.com/
We've spent about 18 months designing, sourcing materials, product testing and fighting our arses off getting the range together - hopefully the attention to detail and our passion for riding comes through. At the risk of bringing on the haters, very interested in everyones thoughts.
Also, for any dudes in the industry who could recommend a good distributor for the UK we'd love to hear em - we both moved back to Australia so can't do it ourselves anymore. Dug up an awesome thread where a shitload were listed, so that is our first port of call.
We're shipping to the UK though - bout £15 cost. If there is interest from you guys, we'd happily offer a discount just for forum members, do group shipping, donate proceeds back to the forum that kinda thing.
EDIT: **We're offering a 20% off discount for all forum members - enter LFGSS20 at checkout to claim. Also enter your LFGSS username in the comments section. **
