also finally sold my big daily and have downsized. firstly to roll over some cash into my drag car and have a smaller run-about.
this was the first car i saw and bought on spot. '86 325e, few km's on the clock, but car is really tidy inside/outside and really original. lots of new and replaced bits. couple niggles to sort but pretty happy. will stay stock for a while, but don't be surprised if a ls1 will be squeezed in there in the future.

Hmm..auto box? Aside from that, I'd love a 318is as a track/drift car.

I don't know. As much as I've tried fixing it, I can't. No doubt Tester will be along to fix it.

Getting a shot of a Caterham 7 over the weekend. I am on photo duty, so the missus will be driving it. We're doing a route from Edinburgh up to the North, stopping at various shortbread-tin locations on the way. Any recommendations for her driving it? We've been told earplugs are a must, as are scarves and hats for the windchill.

wraparound sunglasses or goggles.
And the handbrake is (on older ones) behind the passenger side dash. -

Very nice buy BQ... I'm a little jealous, if I'm honest.
Its exam time so I keep looking at minis longingly. -
• #15717
Looks great BQ- what's the mileage?
-
• #15718
Barely run in at 206,500.
It's just had the head gasket replaced, and has recent discs, pads, backbox, oil and filters. -

Good call on the Merc, BQ.
Great old buses from a time when Merc's were really well screwed together! -

In a quandry over this . Had it 3 years after spending years trying to find a good one . Only had one owner before me an alfa romeo engineer and only had 34000 miles from new . Back seats hadn't been used . Thing is am not using it really , I have only put about 14000 on it since and feel that should be appreciated more . Having said all that it doesn't really owe me anything , has flown last three MOT's and apart from some issues with the side strips is really good . No visible rust , wheels are unmarked interior ditto . So do I keep and run 'til it eventually gives up or stick on Alfa 145 forum to find a " better " home ?

Likely candidate to be the #1 slowest steed in this thread, currently more than 9,000 miles away from me, and I haven't seen her for almost a year. But still brings a smile on my face every time I see her photo.
